What to know about Renting a Holiday Villa in the French Riviera

There are now hundreds of different kinds of holiday villas in France that one is able to choose from if considering going on holiday to this part of Europe. This part of Europe not only offers you great food and wine but also has some of the most beautiful and spectacular scenery you are ever likely to see. Certainly, you may well find that you need to book yourself several more holidays to this part of Europe to really enjoy everything that it has to offer.

Today there are villas of different shapes, sizes and costs to choose from and all located through out the various regions that make up this beautiful country. Below we take a look at the locations where villas are now available and ways to save money when booking such accommodation.

1. French Riviera - This is a part of France where the rich and famous like to come so the chances of you spotting one of your favorite celebrities are increased. You can either select to have a property that is located in the rolling hills looking down over the Mediterranean. But which offer you the peace and tranquillity but you are still only a short distance from the beaches, cafes and restaurants.

2. Provence - An area of France where you can live the French dream during your vacation. Along with fields covered in lavender this region of France has plenty more to offer to its visitors. Here you can try some really beautiful looking and tasting food.

3. Loire Valley - The kinds of villas you are likely to find here seem to come from a bygone age. As well as having, the chance to sample of the finest wines made in France one can spend time exploring many of the regions Gothic towns or just spend time cycling along its quiet country roads.

4. Normandy - This is a region of France, which has led a somewhat turbulent past and yet is ideal for those who are looking to relax and unwind. There is plenty for one to do and see here from visiting the beaches where the D-Day Landings during World War II took place, or just spend time wandering around some of the regions beautiful towns or villages. If you can try a few the regions local delicacies.

Only when you have decided which region of France it is you would like to spend your vacation in should you start to then arrange your accommodation. Ideally, you should spend some time comparing what the various villas in the region have to offer before you make any bookings.

When it comes to booking holiday villas in France it is a sensible idea to try and book them well in advance of when you are actually going. Often by booking months or even a year, before you are due to travel can save you a considerable amount of money on your accommodation. Plus you may also find that if you are flexible with your vacation dates and are able to go out of season this could also save you money as well.
